No. The 5 Click WordPress Website™ is designed to get you through the first tricky stages that beginners encounter when starting with WordPress. By the end of the course you will have:

1. A ready made WordPress template installed and ready to edit
2. Unbiased info about the builders you can use and why you should or shouldn't use them
3. A list of free plugins I recommend, what to use them for and how to install them (very easy 😊)

The groundwork will be in place for you to go on and swap out the images, text, fonts and colours in the template for your own. This course does not teach you how to do this. You can however find out more details about my full course here. This is where I offer an Easy DIY WordPress course  covering everything you need to know about building and maintaining a WordPress site. There are currently over 100 videos with more being added as and when they are requested/something new in WordPress is released.

I'm sure that might sound overwhelming but the course is designed in such a way that you can follow step by step and also dip in and out when you need to know something specific as you're editing.

The course is still in beta, hence the price and I am adding videos regularly. Because it's in beta I am very open to feedback on how to improve the course and also happy to add videos on specific topics when requested (as long as they are in the general WordPress remit).

No! The beauty of the hosting I recommend is that to get started you don't even need a domain name. Choosing a domain name can be tricky and you want to get it right, so it's best not to rush it. When your site is ready to go live you'll be able to connect your domain name.

Yes! The steps are easy to follow and don't require any technical knowledge. 

Yes! Building a website for the first time is very exciting but it can also be quite lonely (especially at 2am when you're all Googled out!).  We will have a Facebook group that is exclusively for The 5 Click WordPress Website members.  You'll be able to chat safely about your website, your business, general business and well being tips and anything at all. Businesses connecting is really important to us and you may even find clients or form business partnerships with other members.

Please note that this is NOT a group for technical/website support from me. I will be popping in and will help out where I can but for the low course cost I'm sure that you can understand that it's not possible for me to provide ongoing support 🙂

The course will include how you can try out WordPress completely free of charge without needing a domain name or hosting. This means that you can try it out before having to think about hosting or buying a domain name. My training will show you how to get started in literally a few minutes with no complex installation and for free!

Once you decide that WordPress is the right tool for you (wise choice!) then you will need a domain name and hosting.

All websites require a domain name. This is your www. In the training I will recommend a company I use.

You will also require hosting. This is where your website will "live." I will make several recommendations in the training. For a normal site (ie not an e-commerce site with 100k products), these costs will be around $5-$10 a month but they can go up to $30+ a month depending on your requirements. Just these hosting recommendations alone are worth the price of the price of the course. Page one of Google is full of "best of" lists for hosting. These are absolutely not the first hosts (some of them are on developer's "avoid" list - they are the hosting companies who pay the most affiliate commission and that's why the get recommended so much. Hanging out with hundreds of other developers is by far the nest way to find out if a hosting company is good or not. We know what to look for in a host.

There are no hidden costs with the course. At checkout you can choose to try my Easy DIY WordPress course price for 3 months which will take you through everything you need to edit, update and manage your WordPress website, but there is absolutely no obligation to do so and it will be available to purchase at any time in the future at full price.

For this course yes. Building a website from scratch is a whole other ball game and not something that is recommended for beginners. Templates are already laid out in a way that uses web design best practices. If you want to build a site from scratch, this is not the course for you. However I do offer a very in depth Easy DIY WordPress Course that you can find out more about at the main site.

The course is very comprehensive and covers everything you need to start you on the path of building your WordPress site. Even though the themes and plugins I will be showing you are free, the developers still provide support (aren't they amazing?!). You will need to wait longer than someone who has paid for the pro plugin (fair enough), but you will get help.
